I finally have posted a bunch more images on the Zireshot Gallery, you really should go check them out since you're probably in one. Well maybe you are, either way it's cool.

Correspondant Eric Schooff brings us "Protection From Pornography Week" the latest and greatest of Bush's ideas.

Wednesday, October 29, 2003

Disinfection from Eric Schooff has made it's way to the his humble website. Give it a run, I liked it. A perfect illustration of the hopelessness of humanitity.
Hurray for Wednesday! You're probably sitting there thinking, why Jeramey, why would I be excited for Wednesday? If only you were a Janesville School District student you would understand, as we have the rest of the week off. End of quarter and teacher's convention. So yes, hurray for Wednesday because it's just like Friday, wahoo!

I just upgraded to the latest version of Mozilla (of the Firebired variety) and I can already see the improvments of my last version. I would recommend for anyone running anything else to get on the Mozilla bandwagon. Mozilla is not as plagued with security holes and crashes like Internet Explorer. Best of all it's free and always getting improved by the open source community. A big plus for many other individuals may be the built-in pop-up blocker that works by blocking any scripts to pop-up windows.

What strikes me as ironic today is that the Fruitopia machine at the Boys & Girls Club, located directly out the door from my desk, has only three Fruitopia choices but yet it has five Powerade choices. Good thing Fruitopia is on the machine, not Powerade.

I have to return to school again tomorrow. It will be quite a change of pace since I've been off the past five days for various fun activities. A return to tests and grades, yay!

If you want to go insane this would be the link to click.

If you're sensitive to really bright flashing lights, don't click on it. If you're really bored, click on it.

Saturday, October 25, 2003

Out of boredom we find that I'm the world's number one Jeramey. I bet you can't top that.
Friend Eric Schmoldt, now a UW-Madison student is going to be sitting in the press row at the Kohl Center all year, using his words like swords to describe Wisconsin Badger Hockey. He has an article up about the first home game for the Badger's hockey team at The Insiders.

I plead guilty. I have a digital media obsession. Whether it's the twice a week trips to the library for music, the fetish I've developed for digital photography, or the enjoyment of the technical aspects of a movie's production. I have an obsession. I wish I had more money, that way I could buy all the cool things I've been wanting. In lieu of what I just said I'm going to start focusing my posts on more digitally related things. Electricity is awesome.
To clarify those confused it was an iBook that was in a cybercafe that was free to attendees of the conference, I don't actually own it. Sorry for any confusing that may have caused. Tongiht I'll post a summoary of my trip there and perhaps a few pictures for you to enjoy.

I'm bringing it to you live from GWETC which is the Governor's Wisconsin Education Technology Conference, yeah what do you have to say about that? I'm an Apple iBook and I'm not sure I'm really liking it, oh well it's free.

iTunes is the coolest Apple product to date, passing even the iPod. What makes it so cool? How about the built-in network sharing/streaming feature for your already existing MP3's, never again will everyone on the network have to have thousands of mp3's on their computer. Plus, you can get cheap legal music that you can burn to CDs as many times as you want, unlike other music services. The built-in ripping support is a big plus too. Cool features are the calculation of the number of days worth of music you have, instead of 244 hours like Winamp tells me, the rating system for your music, and the top-played songs playlist. With all these features you can't go wrong. Give it a try.

The beauty of the Internet is that it allows for free speech so in a post like this I can speak my mind. For those of you that don't know lately the pledge of the allegiance has been contested. Specifically the line "one nation under God". The line was added by Dwight Eisenhower during his term as President. Now for those of you that don't see the problem with that line, here's my little explanation. The Bill of Rights allows the right of religious freedom. Your religion can be whatever you want it to be, whether you want to beleive in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or nothing at all. Whatever religion you want to be part of, whether it's something or nothing, may or may not believe in a God. Should everyone then have to say "one nation under God"? A country that was founded on freedom shouldn't be forcing people to say they believe in God. What makes the issue worse is the MORONIC COMMENTS towards those who don't believe in God and disagree with that line in the pledge. The pure ignorance of some individuals is amazing, well you won't say the line in the pledge YOU MUST BE A TERRORIST. The only terrorists are the ones that are attempting to destroy our freedoms. Defend your rights like that of free speech and freedom of religion. Just beacuse you don't always agree with what someone is saying doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to say it. Freedom of speech allows for us to live happily ever after and disagree, that's the brilliance of it. Freedom of religion should be the same, no one should be a treason committing terrorist for not wanting to say they believe in a God.

I saw the Matrix again and it got me thinking yet again like everything is a program. Is it really that far out to consider something like that happening? People like Ray Kurzweil talk about it happening all the time.

McDonalds has a great deal going on now. With their Monopoly game you win at least one Best Buy dollar each time you eat a large french fry serving. That translates into one dollar at Best Buy for each large fry you eat. Being the big thinker you of course are thinking, most people won't collect one dollar. What you need to do is take your friends, collect all of their dollar off coupons and collect ones off random fry cartons left around. I got essentialy six bucks for free today via Alison's great friends. After collecting yours go online to Best Buy and get something really cool (for free).

On the update note, I'll give you a quarter for each Best Buy dollar you give me. Free money for something you'll probably never use.

Here's a fun one for anyone interested. Curtosy of the Feedster blog.

So I made this new logo thing, which many of you have noticed by now. It's not done, just was a change from what was there before. Let me know what you think I should do for a logo, since you're all just the biggest and brightest. I had Taco Bell with Joe Fulton today, it was good to see him back in Janesville (now that he's back off to college already). Had my fantasy basketball draft today, I took Tracy McGrady with the 7th pick. Let's pray that that pans out well. For now check out this cool boat blowing up picture.

I bought new chapstick from Wal-Mart. I figured you all would want to know. And if you didn't you do now. It's blue, how cool is that?

Sunday, October 12, 2003

It was Craig's homecoming dance last night. Being that I am a Craig student I went, how cool eh? I thought the night was a good time however there is a few things I could do without, first all the pictures, second the nice and expensive flowers, and third the Butterfly Club (bad service). I'm sure I could rant forever but I'm going to stop for now, I may have a picture or two later from bowling afterwards. What did you think of homecoming (feel free to voice your opinion if you didn't go or don't go to school at Craig) ? I'd love to hear your opinion.

Jeff Bell, of whom I am stalking (more on that story later), has a pretty darn cool website. Check out the art and parodies sections, they're in my opinion the best parts.

I found a new blog to read via blogsnob. Check it out.

Someone must really like animals, or at least they like tigers. An apartment in New York was found to have a tiger living in it. Disgusting the urine leaked through the ceiling, person below just loved it. The full story.
Sometimes you have to realize that you'll live with some people your whole life and others you won't see once you're out of high school. I came to that realization today and it hit like a freight train. Oh well.

On the light and fluffy note I got to witness the largest time-out ever. All the kids that were in the gym without a staff member had to sit down for five minutes. There was 20 of them. Silly kids not reading the sign.

Quite the day. Actually, not really. So apparently the picture link there is working for some and not for others. I'm going to suggest clicking on it, going back, and clicking on it again. I now have three million in the bank at BlogShares. I'm also going to be launching a news site about BlogShares soon, called BSWatch.

Do you play computer games for hours? There is a LAN party coming up next weekend, on the 18th. Same deal as always. Anyone in is welcome. Hit the site for more details?

Hold that mouse! Ignore my previous post. I found this picture about whiners and it made my day.
I have nothing to say, so I'll stick to the obvious. Mountain Dew is great. So is John Williams. I love my digital camera.

Sunday, October 05, 2003

I saw School of Rock today. I would say it's definitely worth your time. Jack Black is great throughout the movie, inspiring little kids to stick it to the man.
Here's a cool blog. I recommend you waste your time checking it out. Bathrooms I Have Visited

Friday, October 03, 2003

I made 250.000 BlogShare dollars today. I'm now completely capable of crushing the prices of small blogs. Somehow this fake stock market is making me feel powerful.

Check out Vivi's story place hosted by your favorite webhosting company (BobtheKing Dot Com Webhosting).

I got my hair cut today for the first time in way too long. It was way over my ears. Already losing money on the Hollywood Stock Exchange. In other news I'll have a new clothing company coming your way soon, and you'll like it.
