I suppose it's time for some daily rambling, and what a better subject than the annexation of Puerto Rico. Ok, maybe not. But let's talk about Linux. Linux is awesome. Alright that's good enough. So apparently the rumor that Taco Bell meat is grade D means humans shouldn't eat it. I disagree, I love it. I vote every school lunch program is replaced with Taco Bell, they can write it off as adding culture. As we all know Taco Bell is about as Mex... wait it's more American than McDonalds. McDonalds is good stuff though too, we shouldn't short it. I'll blog again next year, I've decided I'm going to take the rest of the year off.

If you had in the range of 25 dollars to spend at Best Buy what would you spend it on? My gift certificate appreciates your suggestions.

Who wants a flaming pop tart? I sure do.

The Return of the King didn't fail to dissapoint, I enjoyed it. It felt to me to be the shortest of the three until it all slowed way down for the last 20 minutes, oh well. I would highly recommend you see it.

It has been determined. I can't do the double joystick thing in the Xbox no matter how hard I try, I just can't do it smoothly. However, I was making progress today.

In an attempt to explain how I acquired another three stitches let us jump to fourth gym class on Wednesday playing badminton. My partner and I both charge the net, and bam his follow-through comes flying into my nose. It didn’t hurt to bad and I was like oh well, but then I started bleeding (quite profusely I’m told). After running to the bathroom to have my partner attempt to clean out my cut (I’ll pass out at the site of blood) I find both of my hands just covered in blood. After that it’s off to urgent care with my mom who came to pick me up. About an hour later I’m back at school with three stitches in-between my eyes.
As a follow-up to the story I went back to claim the racquet that bashed my face, but of course I can’t have it. But! I could have had the racquet had I took it while I was bleeding, go figure. Apparently this incident scores less on the grotesque scale than CYO basketball head-breaking-open-on-elbow incident, as Joe Fulton would recall. So yeah I’ve had eight stitches in nine months now after never being hurt before, quite odd. Oh and by the way, it drives the ladies wild. And when I say wild I really mean they can’t manage to look at me.

Food! Boys & Girls Club of Janesville staff Christmas Party tonight. Only one of the most amusing meals of the whole year. This will be my third one and hopefully it will live up to all expectations.
On another note, why would would you pass up free food?

So I'm walking into the music section at the Hedberg Public Library and low and behold who do I see but Mr. Chris Horton. Chris Horton wins the prize as being the first college student I've been shocked to run into over break thinking they were hundreds of miles away. Amazing.
Co-host of the Network of Gamers LAN Party, Giggles of Doom has made Slashdot with his Small Form Factor Comparison Matrix.
Did you make the list this year? What list? How about the top ten richest people in the world. Of course you didn't, but here is the people who did.

I've taken a fond interest in GearBits as of lately. So much that I'm going ahead and suggesting that you give it a try.

Who likes cheese? As the hands go up, I'm going to babble.
I've started playing this new online game called Kings of Chaos. You should click here to give me a free soldier after you choose the correct number.
CYO basketball is starting up, just wait and you'll be able to see me lighting it up from the bench this season. I'll keep you posted on that one.
The beauty of computers is that they allow you waste your time faster than you ever were able to before.

With a redesign (more of an upgrade) in mind for this site I'm asking for your input on what your favorite topics I talk about our and perhaps like how much you like the games or music page. Really just go ahead and point out your likes and dislikes.

Internet TV? Feature of the future or of Winamp 5? You win if you chose Winamp 5. Winamp has done it again, combining the power of Winamp 2 with the management of Winamp 3 and then tossing in working, high-quality Internet TV. Right out of the install I was watching high-quality streams that looked BETTER than any video stream I've seen, come to think of it I was watching a stream of Die Hard 2 and it looked NICE. Lots of streams of things like Radiohead, REM, and the Smashing Pumpkins were available.
Unfortunately it was only an alpha copy and isn't available to everyone yet, so I'll have to keep you posted when I learn more. If you're wondering where the version 5 comes from it's version 3 + version 2, clever. Looks to be awesome so far, I hope to see more good things.

See any giant lasers in the sky lately? Probably not. Unless that is you live in Colorado or Wyoming, full story.
Odd to consider the many circles of friends I have and how radically different they are. There are those that never dissapoint, oddly they tend to be the older ones. Interesting to consider.

It appears BlogShares is going to be no more. My virtual millions have evaporated, oh well. The game actually was over-rated, a few main players had bots that allowed them to pretty much make infinite money while everyone else had to live with many trading restrictions.

Goodbye MP3.com, Vivendi has sold the site to Cnet however they didn't include the archives. Six years of music is gone from the Internet. I've learned of quite a few artists from Mp3.com such as Bucket and the Distorted Penguins. Quite obviously, it's a sad day for independent music artists looking to easily get their music out on the Internet.
