For the first time in a few years a truly huge event is about to occur. Nothing of this magnitude has happened for years and probably won't happen for years after. For those of you who are just dying to know what this gigantic event is, well I'm changing my home page. That's right, my home page. My very personal home page that has been Slashdot.org for over 3 years now. You ask "why Jeramey, what's wrong with Slashdot?" Well my friends fear not nothing is wrong with Slashdot, just I can get Slashdot plus more with BlogLines. BlogLines allows me to see all the latest Slashdot posts (and tells me how many new articles there are) plus every other news source or blog I could possibly handle. Now that you're all over your huge shock, Gary Wolf a Wired has wrote an article about RSS feeds and their relevance in regards to previous news distribution attempts. Overall, RSS rules and you all should be using it.
