I've become a big fan of the BlogLines news feed service to manage my blog reading. After having to check countless websites throughout the day at many different computers (at last count I use 5 different computers for at least an hour everyday), I've come to realize one service to manage all of them would be ideal. Well a stand-alone application that resides on the hard drive wouldn't work because of my computer switching, a web-based one would. BlogLines provides me with just that, it tells me which of my blogs have new postings and just how many postings they have. I also have the ability to save an individual post to a folder on their site. The recommendation service is pretty cool, if you like blog x you may also be interested in blog y about topic z. I've found numerous new blogs using that service. I'm now able to consume a ton of information very fast, as opposed to wasting my time searching to see who had new posts. You can even subscribe to BobtheKing on BlogLines using this RSS Feed (that also works for any other newsfeed programs). Overall I have to recommend BlogLines to anyone who reads over two blogs. If you don't read over two blogs, what is wrong with you? Enjoy BlogLines.
