Wendy's Bringing Back Dave
I must have missed it in the news earlier but Jluster brought it to my attention,Dave Thomas is back. Wendy's will be using Dave Thomas, who died in January of 2002, or rather they will be using pictures of him in their advertisments starting this past Friday. They had previously been using "Mr. Wendy's", that guy who was an unofficial spokesperson in the commercials and often alienated his wife. Goodbye Mr. Wendy's and welcome back from the dead Dave Thomas.

They are going to use a picture of him to promote Wendy's? I think they should get like his grandson or someone else to do it, that's kind of weird. I guess maybe because I imagine it being a picture, with the lips still moving though, weird.

Yeah, I haven't seen any of the ads yet so I'm not sure exactly what they mean when they say picture.

Blogger... grrr. I posted that on the wrong one. Anyway, what I mean is that it is a lot easier for other people to read what you write when you do use it.

That's weird. I was reading it again, and I thought that maybe he would just be in the ads in the newspapers, like a picture of him, but the whole TV commercial thing, are they going to have someone pretending to be his voice or something? That's weird.
