Advice On Kid Naming
The Google Blog has recently put up a post to all parents on how to name your kids to make sure they're able to be found in a search engine. As a one of a kind person (Jeramey Jannene, who else would have that name?) I can tell you that there is definitely ups and downs to being easy to find online. For the most part it has been good for me, but it could definitely be bad. If you're worried about privacy give your child a generic name.

ya it's pretty easy to find me on a Google search...there used to be pics of me too during plays and such which was a little unnerving for my parents.

I searched for you on google and I got like 9 pages of things that was all the real you things, but then, I searched for me on google and I got like 9 or 10 pages, but a lot of other Alison's. Apparently I am a sister-in-law to Scott Peterson, of the Laci murder trial, that one came up a lot.
