It was noted by one David Moe that I forgot to put an F on my rom to create the word from.

Live rom Mr. Stried's English class it's Saturday Night Bob, oh wait. It hurts to realize that you're still in school.

On a completely different note I had a can of Mountain Dew in the microwave and a hot dog package in my hand. I had personal "big bang" and realized I probably should switch the locations of the items. It's hard to open a can of hot dogs and eat warm aluminum in a bun.

This is my first post to my BtK using the new Avantgo blog utility from Dented Reality
So I was thinking. How many of you have ever brushed your teeth and ate a cookie at the same time? I tried it once, not on purpose. I was just kind of going along brushing my teeth and eating my cookie until my mom pointed out that one was defeating the purpose of the other. My fun was ruined as I realized I couldn't eat and brush my teeth at the same time. Wow, what a sad moment that was.

I went war driving yesterday and found about 14 802.11b (wifi) networks. Of those 14 I found only 1 of them was encrypted. Encrypt your networks!

I got to go to Red Robin today and I would have to say that it was pretty good for just being opened. The wait to get in only took 11 minutes to seat two of us. The food was pretty good, however the waitress was a little flustered. I suppose that does come with it being the first true Saturday night that it was open. Going to have to check out the Fudruckers in the next few weeks and find out what that is all like. Oh the excitment of getting these new places of eating.

ImaginaryGirflriends Dot Com, the best thing since string cheese.
In honor of people that smell really bad I bring you this post. It's friday and that's a really good thing for anyone that doesn't work on the weekend, if you have to work on the weekend you're an awful person. For those of you who like to eat jumbo shrimp, I salute you. For those of you who can't hold off eating Taco Bell I also like you. I had something really cool to write about but at the moment I can't think of what it was. Oh, funeral processions during Craig High School lunch hours don't work very well. That however wasn't really what I thought I wanted, there was something else. Well I have no clue, so have a good day.

Rumor mill has it that they've already found their number one suspect and are going about to bring her (I'm assuming a her) in. Of course that news could be old by now, as that was at 8:00 A.M. this morning.

Tuesday, March 23, 2004

A bomb threat was found in one of the girl's bathrooms at Craig High School today. It was addressed for 8:20 A.M. tomorrow morning, however school starts at 8. That means that we have all (all 1,800 of us) have to have our bags searched on the way into school in the morning, while passing through one door. What a pain since the door doesn't open until 7:15 and I was supposed to have a review session at 7:10 for AP Psychology. I hope they find the person and are able to prosecute them to the full-extent of the law.

I have been proclaiming it for quite a while now, and with the release of the new version Firefox from Mozilla is going to continue to gain a ton of market share and become the leading browser. John Udell of InfoWorld is even proclaiming it now. The bulit-in pop-up blocker is way better than any software out there, and the tabbed browsing is amazing. Another great asset of it that is massively overlooked is that it is not exploited by numerous spyware applications and toolbars like Internet Explorer. What are you waiting for? Download now.

So my friend Ben Guild over at made The Screen Savers the other night. Here's the video of what happened.

It's friday and that's reason enough for me to celebrate. A substitue teacher asked me "so what is your name anyway" she said it's spelled "Jer-a-mey" and you say it "Jer-a-me" but I think that's wrong, your name should be "germ-me". I told know that's how my name is spelt and pronounced, so she then says she wasn't sure about that and told me that perhaps they made a mistake and it should be "Jer-o-me". I simply just walked away at this point, you can't fight stupidity, it's a virus.

That was the fastest appearance and disappearance of snow I think I've ever seen. The snow was here in the morning each of the past two mornings and gone by the time I got home from work. Crazy

Score, I was given two duct tape wallets by a co-worker today. I'm good to go now.
I'm now known as the big loser by all AP US History students at Craig High School. I managed to go from having over 140 million dollars (and over 1.2 billion on loan) and then to be 794,000,000 dollars in debt. The simulation was supposed to last 10 days and was a simulation of the 1920's. Logically it would crash at the end, however our teacher caught us by surprise and crashed it on day 5. Day 5 unfortunately was the day I planned to pull half my money out and have no fear of losing my commanding lead. Thanks to the ability to buy on margin (only having to put down 10 percent of your investment) I was able to accumulate a great deal of wealth in just 4 days (starting from 1,000). The plan on day five was that I would have almost 1 and a half billion dollars. I would be able to take that billion out and just sit on it for the rest of the game, and then reinvest the remaining portion without any margined money (ensuring I never fall below a billion dollars).

It appears that Taco Bell gift certificates are a holiday season only thing, which is dissapointing becuase they won't be around for my birthday or high school graduation.

On a completely different note I've started playing BlogShares again, the virtual blog stock market. They've made improvements in the overall speed of the website, so I've been more interested in playing again. This of course that I'm blogging my experiences with the game at BSWatch again.

I attended the WIAA Girls Basketball State Championship today with a few friends and was able to sit front row for the Division One game. It proved to be fairly exciting as Oskosh West went on to win their second-straight state title. I would have to say they have one of the best student sections I have ever seen, a stunning variety of cheers and everyone participated in each one.

On an even cooler noteI'm drinking out of my brand new Red Robin glass. I also got invited to a sneak preview both nights before it opens, I'll have to let you know how it goes. For now, I'm off!

Interesting to point out that the front of the Pringles can (where the logo is) is only in English, however the nutritional facts are in English and Spanish. I'm not sure about the country having a national language yet, but I'm thinking logically it would be better. The number of boxes that have 3+ languages on them is growing everyday, and it's costing more money to print everything three plus times.
Did I miss something? The latest AOL CD I received in the mail came in a wood box. Since when did chopping down trees become cheaper than using plastic? AOL should use prison labor to produce hard-drawn packages made out of recycled paper. To further that they should be forced to reward customers if they return the CD in mint, perhaps with a penny or free iTunes song. I bet that would get them to stop sending CDs real fast.

Network of Gamers LAN Party this weekend was awesome. Besides consuming my whole weekend setting up and taking down the tables and network for the event, I was able to get a few shots in. Those few shots proved to be enough to help lead my team to victory in the Desert Combat tourney, winning my own candy back.

Office Space is the greatest movie ever, hands down. I just used it for my AP Psych presentation and it was a great demonstration of workplace motivation.

I'm in the works of fixing the Internet Explorer glitch that causes the full page not to be scrollable. Until then just refresh the page, and it should work.
I've started a new day. Every Tuesday from now until the end of time will be decade past music day. For those of you who can't add or subtract you should be listening to music from the 90's today. Song of the day is Dog's Eye View "Everything Falls Apart".

The guys over at Gearbits, a handheld device centered blog, have published a story about a portable hard drive that holds 1 terabyte. For those of you that don't understand just how big that is here's some quick math. A terabyte is equal to 1428 CDs, 212 DVDs, or 694444 floppy discs. For anyone that is still confused, let's just pretend you get it and that it's really big. Did I mention this thing is no bigger than the CD drive on your computer? Here's the Gearbits article.
I love Mondays that are accented by having to be at school by 6:45 for Jazz Band, nothing like going to school in the dark. However the recent upswing in the temperature has proved to be a nice change. There is a sign up that says only 38 days until Spring Break, however I'd like to pretend it's going to be much sooner than that. Class is over now so I'm going to head on out of here, you have a good Monday.

Do you have a case of the Mondays?
