Bluebirds Win State Quarterfinal Game
In a dazzling display of start to finish hockey the Janesville Bluebirds were able to defeat the University School of Milwaukee. Winning their fourth straight game in overtime, the Bluebirds finished regulation with a 1-1 tie. I was there with my trombone to provide some pep band music to fellow BtK blogger John Reddell as he took the ice to play defense for Bluebirds. The Craig Pep Band will be joining the Bluebirds tomorrow night at 5 as they take on Arrowhead (who defeated Fond du Lac today 5-0) at the Madison Coliseum. Wisconsin Prep Hockey along with Gazette Extra and the WIAA hockey website will all be able to provide more detailed information than I will.
