NASA's World Wind
NASA has released one awesome application that I have been waiting a few days to try. Now that I am finally home I have had a chance to really play around with it. World Wind lets you zoom from satellite altitude into any place on Earth. The program utilizes Landsat satellite imagery and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data. It's an awesome way to zoom in on your town in 3D. I was able to zoom into Janesville to find where my school, work, and home with ease. I was also able to trace the way I drive to Milwaukee and get a glimpse of all the towns that I just miss seeing while cruising down the road. You will however need a broadband internet connection to utilize the application as it downloads the maps in real-time. Check it out.

Thanks for pointing out Terra Server, I was going to toss that into my post noting that you can get a more detailed image of a certain building that way. I managed to forget to include it somehow.
If anyone out there is interested in trying Keyhole they can feel free to ask me for a CD. Nvidia gives us quite a few each time they sponsor the LAN party (http://www.networkofgamers.com).
