Problems with Blogger

As you are probably aware, I'm a Blogger user. I've been a big fan of the Blogger API, using it to publish from my desktop with W.bloggar (site is down at the moment) and to put my pictures up with Flickr. The API was very reliable until Google went public (Google owns Blogger). Steven proposed a theory that the reliability of Blogger is inversely related to the stock price of Google. This has held true even today as the price is up, but Blogger has been down.

My point, other than to get Steven's theory in the open, is to note that this is the reason you are seeing multiple posts of the same thing. I'll often hit the post button, either on Flickr or W.bloggar, and get a failure error. Try it again, get a failure error. Try it again, success. I go to check the site and whammy! I have three posts up of the same thing. I know there are a few things with the post-publish style of Blogger that may be causing this to happen, but these uses of the API used to work perfectly. I want the service to just flat out work, like it used to.

Please Google make your service more reliable.
