Hmm, telnet is pretty much a universal protocol with many, many platforms having clients. It is available to any telnet client that supports vt100 emulation (that's just about all of the clients in the world). It's not exclusively Windows. In fact, Windows has one of the worst default telnet clients out there. Anyway, feel free to connect to it from any platform. Works just the same.
