Milwaukee WiFi

The Journal Sentinel just tossed a quick story up about plans that will be unveiled today to build a citywide wireless network at zero cost to taxpayers. The proposal is from Midwest Fiber Networks, a Milwaukee-based company. Let's hope the service is reliable and cheap.

PDA + Wifi + Bus = Cool, PDA + Wifi + Walk to Grocery Store = Cool, Laptop + Wherever + Wifi = Cool. I like it. There is wifi all over where I live now thanks to unlocked access points, but this network would be AWESOME.
