GM Giving Away Free Shirts
In an effort that I'm sure is helping their bottomline General Motors is giving away free t-shirts. The shirts are part of GM's "Live green, go yellow" campaign that is all about the use of ethanol fuels.
Free shipping, doesn't appear to be any strings attached, plus ethanol fuel is pretty awesome, so sign-up to get your t-shirt today.

Thanks, mine is on the way! The only problem with E85 is that this type of fuel does not hold as much energy as regular gasoline. This causes a 5%-25% reduction in MPG. Currently, E85 fuel prices are very close to that of regular gasoline, so costs of using this type of fuel for consumers are still high. However, as E85 becomes available in more cars and trucks, production costs should go down for producers, which should lead to a decrease in costs for the consumer. We are just not there yet. I am all for alternative energy sources (I will even have the shirt in 4 weeks to prove it), but the technology and price behind it needs to improve for this to catch on with consumers. It will be interesting to see what happens. I like the idea, though-it puts gasoline money back into our economy rather than those in the Middle East and South America.
