Facebook and Athletes

A USA Today story discusses how university athletes are being demanded to stay off the Facebook by their respective universities. I say ridiculous! It's not fair to the student athletes, Facebook has planted itself as central to the college experience today. This is a case of people with a limited understanding of the issue overreacting. Stop the insanity!

The schools are banning students from using the site only to hide existing problems from the public eye, instead of fixing the problems.
