NBA's Big Picture (particularly the Bucks)

Bill Simmons, sports writer extraordinaire, has a rundown of every team in the NBA.

His comments about the Milwaukee Bucks confirm something that has been brewing in me all season. When does Terry Stotts actually coach the team?

There has been one great play all season that I can attribute to coaching, the game winning lob against the Spurs. Outside of that, Stotts doesn't seem to have command of matchups or of situational management of which players should and shouldn't be on the court. Someone closer to the situation (Larry Harris and Herb Kohl) needs to make a decision about Stotts' future. Is his coaching to blame for the team's struggles or is just that the players on the team aren't that good?

I think the players are definitely capable of being winners, I just think they need better coaching to give them that boost into the league's elite.
