Terry Porter Wants To Buy Trail Blazers

Former Milwaukee Bucks coach and Wisconsin-native Terry Porter is rounding up investors to buy the Portland Trail Blazers from Paul Allen. Allen, one of the richest men on the planet, has recently indicated that he would be willing to sell the team, claiming that he is losing millions each year and needs public money to support the team. Personally, I think it's amazing that super-rich Paul Allen would even ask for public money, but that's what is happening. According to NBA Commissioner David Stern the team and the Rose Garden stadium are worth at least $300 million.

I'm excited to watch this unfold. Porter's interest of course stems from the fact that he played for the team.
