Cameras Coming to Milwaukee

Security cameras are coming to National Ave in Milwaukee. Or at least 11 blocks of it.

I wish they would make it possible for people to come and see what the cameras are actually monitoring at the police station or wherever the film is recorded and stored at. I think that would ease a lot of people's fears. Maybe, since we're high tech enough to have these camers, we could even make a short video available online of what the camera records?

I'm honestly not too big on monitoring streets with cameras, but I'm sure they do help cut down on crime. There has to be a better way though.
