Republicans Blackmail Working America

The Republican Party has done it again. The party that touts itself as having integrity and familiy values has stuck it to every citizen in America that isn't a millionaire. The Republicans have prepared a bill that couples a minimum wage increase that the Democrats want with a cut on inheritance taxes on multmillion dollar estates.

The Republicans will use this in hopes that it will go through and they get at least what they want or if they are so lucky the Democrats will vote it down and the Republicans will be able to use TV ads that say "So and so voted against a minimum wage increase". The later, well being honest at some level, fails to tell the whole story and is "spin" politics.

The shame is that the people really getting hurt here are the people that would benefit from the minimum wage increase. The inheritance tax portion isn't going to really help anyone barely getting by, it's going to help people who are already getting by buy a bigger yacht.

Spin politics hurt America. I wish for the politicans to stop hurting America. This isn't fighting over ideals, it is low-blow politics that does not benefit the people.
