Facebook Advertising
Facebook does this really neat thing where they allow you to advertise via flyers (little text-based "banner" ads). They also let companies buy regular banner advertisements from them.
The flyers are certainly awesome (and very affordable), however they don't offer much in the way of an attention grabbing advertisement that the regular banner advertisement does.
I wanted a full-sized graphical banner advertisement for a project. Turns out if I want anything more than the $5 flyer ($5/10,000 impressions), I have to spend at least $25,000. I don't have that kind of cash, unfortunately.
You would think they could find some kind of half-way point between those two extremes?
