Megatrain?

MEGATRAIN

Apparently, Stagecoach, the company that operates Megabus offers a service in England called Megatrain. Using the same book early, save money logic as Megabus, you can take super discount train rides across England.

If they were able to talk Amtrak into adding this service in the United States you couldn't keep me in one place.

There is always Sky Bus If you search for a flight and go out to September, they cost $10 for a one way ticket and I think its carry-on only. Not a bad deal if you know far enough in advance. It also has a select number of city's, so that kind of sucks.

It's nice to be hopeful but never underestimate how much Amtrak really sucks. I'm on with SkyBus. And don't give me your liberal-environmental crap - people are entitled to watering their lawns.
