Facebook used to have this really neat feature that was free of spam ads, they were called Facebook flyers. You could advertise on one network for a flat rate, so it was easy to make sure everyone on campus knew it was your best friend's birthday.

Then they went and ruined it a couple days ago.

They created a feature that you could advertise to all of Facebook with a flyer. The spam has flown in and now every advertisement I see is for a get rich quick strategy or a picture of a rather busty female.

Disgusting. Way to pollute the community.
